New Zealand Tour: Waitomo caves, Hamilton and Rotorua

Not very far away from Raglan there are two caves worth visiting, the Waitomo caves. One of them had glow worms all over the top and it seemed like the sky at night. It was forbidden to take pics there so it's a shame we can't show you any. The second cave had big tunnels with huge columns. The pics you see here are from that cave.

Perico getting some pictures.

Perico, self portrait.

After seeing the caves we went to a huge waterfall where we got to swim again. This waterfall was way bigger than the one we went before and it was hard to dive under the falling water. Some of us almost drown there.

David and Kevin with style.

Our next stop was Hamilton. We got there quite late so we only rode for less than an hour. The park had a huge bolw very fun to carve and a nice hip where this pic of haimona was taken. After the park we headed to the camping.

Haimona, turndown.

Gonzalo, David and Guiri.

The next morning we got up early to drive to Rotorua. There we wanted to ride some luge carts on the mountain by the town. You'll have to wait to see the footage on video because those things were insane! After the luge we went to some dirt jumps by a bmx track. The guys there were fixing the jumps because there was a comp taking place there on the next two days. They were kind and let us ride there with them. There were two lines, a big one and a small one consisting of three jumps each. At the beggining of the session Perico crashed and we ended in the hospital because his shoulder wasn't feeling ok. After he got it checked there was nothing to worry about and he started riding a couple days after.

Kevin Porter, no foot cac can.

Keep tuned for more on the tour in two or three days.
