Well, this is to inform you that the spanish bb 2 definitely doesn´t work. Over the last 2 years we have tested several bearing sizes and designs but these kind of bearings can´t hold a hard abuse. Some riders like Sergio and naran used it without problems but Kevin porter recently blow the last design of bearings. He tested them hard street riding and they didn´t hold. So it´s clear that no matter we try, these kind of cone shape bearings are not suitable for a bottom Bracket.
It´s a pity because it was a pleasure to install this bb.
This is not the first time that we try something but finally doesn´t work. There are many other things that we have tried but we never showed you. It´s the price you have to pay to try new things…
Here is a Photo of the last sample of spanish bb 2 set. It even came with an allen hex hole so you can mount it without having any extra tool.
